In 1999, James Sack co-founded carbonhouse and opened its doors. James and his team constantly focus on brand development and creative direction to deliver exactly what each client needs and wants.
James undertakes website development from a marketing approach, not a tech viewpoint. He focuses on bringing the personality of each client to the forefront to replicate the venue experience.
Over the course of his 20-plus year career, James has won numerous design and technology awards, including the W3 Best in Show, gold Davies, Addys and Print magazine’s Interactive Annual. He is also a member of AIGA, the professional association for design, and sits on the planning committee of the Event & Arena Marketing Conference (EAMC). He has a degree in Fine Arts and enjoys print making, photography and music in his time off.
James oversees all creative and graphic design work, including strategy.
Partner
Brandon Lucas knows the entertainment industry. He was born and raised among high-profile artists, so it stands to reason that he’s chosen a career that celebrates his passion for event marketing and promotion. Over the course of his career, Brandon has developed an understanding of the industry and what it takes to not only host successful events, but also sell tickets.
Brandon has worked for several premier entertainment companies, including serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Clear Channel Entertainment-Music Group, now known as Live Nation. In this capacity, Brandon managed over 1,500 annual events in 12 regions across North America. Furthermore, Brandon has personally opened a number of facilities, including Charlotte Bobcats Arena, which in its inaugural year was one of highest grossing arenas in the country and was also nominated for POLLSTAR Arena of the Year and Best New Major Concert Venue, and Murat Centre in Indianapolis, Indiana.
