Wheeler Opera House has been the performing arts venue for Aspen, Colorado, and the Roaring Fork Valley since 1889. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the beautifully restored opera house annually hosts hundreds of concerts, educational programs, and community and special events. Wheeler spent thirteen years as the featured site of the HBO/US Comedy Arts Festival, and now hosts its own four-day comedy experience, the Aspen Laff Festival.
