In October 2007, Prudential Center ushered in a new era in sports and entertainment in Newark and the entire Northern New Jersey area. The arena is home to NHL's New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall's men's basketball, MISL's New Jersey Ironmen indoor soccer, and it hosts concerts, family shows, and special events. A public/private partnership between the City of Newark and Devils Arena Entertainment made the Prudential Center a reality.
